Later on they shifted their place of residence to Hyderabad, where the family is currently residing.Sania Mirza became the only Indian woman in the history of the Indian Lawn Tennis, to reach and register a win in any grand slam tournament when she reached to the fourth round of the 1995 U.S. Open.Saniya Mirza is just 21 years of age, and her current WTA ranking is 55 (as on 02.10.06). Saniya Mirza started playing lawn tennis at the age of six years; even her coach refused to teach her looking her young age.
